MISSION STATEMENTServing the Inland Northwest since 1896, Volunteers of America of Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho is a local nonprofit dedicated to helping those in need—from women, teens and veterans battling chronic homelessness to at-risk youth and families—to rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. Our innovative programs provide a continuum of shelter, support services, and housing that uplift and empower, integrating our deep compassion with highly effective services. We stand by people and offer them a continuum of services until they’re ready to stand on their own. Some people call that empowerment. We call it nurturing the human spirit.
