Spokane Public Library Foundation

The Spokane Library Foundation seeks to enhance public funding with private dollars to ensure continued excellence in library services for our community. Through its Board of Directors, the Library Foundation provides faithful stewardship of resources and prudent expenditure of funds to enrich the traditional tax-based funding. Foundation funds are used to expand and maintain the standard of excellence in library services already demonstrated by the Spokane Public Library. We work with the SPL to provide the power to “read, learn, discover and sustain”. Our generous donors have made expanded summer reading programming for families throughout our community possible.
